The story behind my site
We started playing V&V in high school. It was my favorite game that we played because I was such a big comic book fan. We would get together on a Friday night and play all night. We would normally quit the next morning about 9 or 10 am go home and get some sleep and get back together Saturday night and play some more. We played hard and had fun. When we all ended up at the same college together we kept playing games and really didnt stop until we all moved away from each other. Over the years I lost any desire to play RPGs just to busy. In the real world I am a pastor and as such I tend to stay busy. One of my great desires is to someday do a Christian comic. In 2000 I came across Jeff Dees site for Living Legends (New V&V) and was excited to see the game still being played. I thought this would be a great place for me to list some of the old characters we had and a place to test out new ones. My brother Mike and my cousins Jon Hammonds and Danny Hammonds will be helping by contributing some old or new characters.

Buddies
As I mentioned above there was a bunch of us who played games together. Mostly family, we played just about everything from D&D, to champions, to V&V, other games by fantasy unlimted called aftermath, and Psi world. Some great memories came out of those games. My cousin Danny emailed me about some and it made me laugh. Many silly quotes came out of our games. Like "We're gonna roll for it", and the clasic "I'm the fireman and your using to much energy!". One time a member of the group, and you know who you are declared that there was no way you could miss someone if the were squeezing you. To his astonishment when I picked him up and squeezed hard he could only let out a yelp. Hehe. Yep the games we play are nothing without all of the people that make them special.
