His girlfriend was killed when Monty missed his target for the first time. Monty left the circus a broken, bitter and angry man. A leading crime family in Chicago approached Monty shortly after the incident to work as an enforcer. Monty became a hired thug. He has worked for most of the major crime cartel in North America. In an attempt to speed up the repairs of damaged armor vehicles Dr. Ward had been working on a self-repairing armor. Brendon walked in as the armor was being sprayed on a shield. The spray from the shield covered Brendon endowing him with marvelous powers. Brendon now more powerful than he could ever imagine began robbing banks and stores and used his new found wealth to buy what ever he wanted. He finally ran into Red Dragon who was able to defeat Slifer as he now calls himself. Slifer currently is residing in the county jail waiting a chance to escape.

BEFORE LONG AL WAS GLOWING LIKE A BULB. THEY SHOULD HAVE SEEN IT COMING HIS BODY COULD ONLY STORE SO MUCH. WHEN HIS BODY RELEASED THE ENERGY HE DESTROYED A WHOLE WING OF THE FACILITY. THE ENERGY ALSO ALLOWED AL TO PROPEL HIMSELF THROUGH THE AIR. AL QUICKLY DISCOVERED THAT HE COULD HAVE WHATEVER HE WANTED. IT WAS ALL HIS FOR THE TAKING. OTHER INFORMATION: AL WILL OFTEN LET OFF A BLINDING LIGHT TO STUN HIS OPPONENTS. THEY MUST MAKE A SAVING THROW AGAINST THEIR DEX OR BE BLINDED FOR 1-4 ROUNDS.
