The Report
In 1987 Dr. Todd McFarland in association with Dr. Peter David performed a study on the increase in paranormals. What they discovered was quite startling. Unlike in the past when many of the paranormal that were appearing were the result of freak bizarre accidents. A surprising amount of todays paranormal seems to be undeniably decedents of the earlier paranormal. What was discovered was that many of the paranormal that appeared in the 1940s behaved much like todays athletes. It seems rumors of improper behavior were more than rumor. What was also discovered was that paranormal had either incredibly high fertility rates, or were practically impotent. The fact that most that tested the most fertile had more than one paranormal sibling was interesting. What Dr.s McFarland and David concluded was that we were seeing the beginning of a new step in mans evolution. Although the number of paranormal was still relatively small to the general populace it is inevitable that this ratio will continue. They estimated that within 200 years paranormal would outnumber normal people. This rate was variable depending on the rate remaining the same as its current rate, however it has been reported that some nations such as China and other 3rd world nations were working on breeding paranormal. This report referred to the paranormals of this age as third wavers because most were children of paranormals or the grandchildren of paranormals hence the term third wave. McFarland and David suggested that America take the lead in cataloging paranormals throughout the world. The President Rejected this recommendation publicly however the CIA & NSA both began to quietly keep tabs on all known paranormals. It is believed today by many experts in the field of paranormals that the United States government has the largest listing of paranormals in the world. This report has also resulted in a political outcry against paranormal. Many paranormal have found themselves being booed and jeered rather than cheered. Many companies who had been using some of the better known paranormal pulled their advertisements. This has resulted in financial hardships for many and has caused an upsurge in villainous activities. This brings us today a time when paranormal are looked at with animosity and distrust. A time when many so called heroes feel they are fighting a loosing battle against public opinion and against the growing number of villains. |

US World Report: Stingray on the currnet affairs of Heroes in the United States
It is said that to see where someone is going look where they have been. Constant turnover in morals and views change not just the face of a society but its direction where it is headed. We see dark times for heroes but this can be averted. It will take true heroes not super powered athletes who refuse to be role models. We live in a society where heroes and examples are needed, we must not shirk our responsibilities simply because we don't want the job. It has been given to us and we must take up the challenge and not just be good but also be great. Will we see the awakening of a new Golden Age or a new Dark Age only time will tell. But we hold our future in our own hands will you join me in making our time a time of greatness and light. You are accountable whether you take this challenge or not and you will be judged by society if not today then someday. Let those of us that call ourselves heroes rise to be standard bearers for our time and leave a bright shining moment in history. |
