Origin and Background: Born in Tampa, FL. in Feb. 1980, Marcus was diagnosed with the Aids virus. He, along with 99 other babies, were chosen to be used in an experiment.
The babies were given a cocktail that was supposed to have strengthened their molecular structure to fend off the aids virus. By April of 83 there was only two of the original 100 babies left alive. Marcus was one of them... The doctors considered the experiment a failure. Marcus, however, was considered a fluke. Not only did Marcus survive, he excelled. Origin and Background: Beth has been recruiting cord. at Tavery Univ. for three years now. She graduated from Tavery with a masters in administration. Her main goal, is to recruit and help people who are “advancedâ€, because she knows of the problems they might face in the non advanced world. She recruits them and then has them placed in Reed Hall, a co-ed dorm. For a while at least, their with others that are advanced.
The president of Tavery gives her the lee-way and the budget to recruit whomever she pleases. The reason will soon be made clear.
Other Information: Beth loves her recruits and wouldnt do anything to hurt them. She doesnt have a clue to what the Board of regents and President Martin have in store for the advanced.

Origin and Background: “Mel†spent most of her life being shipped from one foster home to the next. She never did stay at one foster home long enough to make very close friends. While living in her fifth foster home, or maybe it was her sixth, something very strange happened to Mel. After staying out all night, upon arriving “homeâ€, her foster dad wasn’t very pleased. When the beating ended , in the safety of her room, she was calm enough to actually fall asleep dreaming of being somewhere else. When she woke up, she was. Mel was in awe. After that, Mel’s time was spent either on the street causing problems, or on any gymnastic team that would have her. The local Y.M.C.A. coach new enough to know what he saw was something special, so when Tavery Univ. came calling wanting to know if he knew of any talent he recommended Mel.

Origin and Background: Alex is the product of a superhero environment. His parents, “Mr. Power and blue Northern”, were two of the most popular super heroes of the 60’s. Alex was raised in the superhero mold. When Alex got old enough to take over the family business, so say, Mr. Power and Blue Northern retired. With their true identity’s never in question, the government audited them. The government found that they owed 250 thousand in back taxes for personal appearances. When Alex heard of this, he was outraged. How could the government do this to his family who had saved their butts hundreds of times. Now glacier will only help the government if civilians or his family is in trouble. He is very confused and disillusioned with whole superhero scene.
Other Information: Glacier will first surround innocents or bystanders with a wall of ice which works as armor. He will then proceed to engage opponents in HTH. He will only “armor up” against the toughest opponents. Family: Mr. Power: 2x heightened Strength, heightened expertise, Regeneration.

Origin and Background: Philip has never been the brightest or best looking in his class. He was also never well recived by the other kids in the class as well. It didnt take Philip very long to figure out that if he wanted other kids to like him, he would have to make them respect him first. It wasnt uncommon for Philip to get expelled from school for causing a fight.
During his junior year at Lakeland High the counselor had him meet with someone from Tavery Univ. The lady was very nice and pretty, and convinced him college would be ideal for him.
Philip had got excited about the idea. For the next year and a half he worked very hard and just barely qualified for Tavery Univ. He also impressed the wrestling coach so much that he was given a full ride.
Other Information: Philip has become fast friends with Mark Wheeler who is on the wrestling team. Philip still holds on to some of his old ways and with wrong guidance could fall back into his thug -like personae.
